Doom & Dickson: fiction and nostalgia
One of the seven Dutch ad agencies nominated by the European Federation of Sales Promotion for the European Sales Promotion Award 2004 is Doom & Dickson (category business to business, B2B, campaign Doom & Dickson 20th Anniversary'). Winners will be announced September 30, 2004, during the festive award ceremony in Brussels.

In 2002 the name 'Doom & Dickson' was created. Names of two imaginary creatives: Jack Doom (great creative of the fifties) and Bill Dickson (pioneer in effective advertising) got their own exhibition, website and (inter)national award-winning Doom & Dickson reference book campaign.

This year the campaign has a follow up with a cd entitled 'Frank Sinatra live at the 20th anniversary of Doom & Dickson'. Online impressions of the cd can be experienced at Doom & Dickson's corporate website.

Fiction and nostalgic images of Sophia Loren, Orson Welles en Ronald Reagan as corporate communication. Great advertising!

Maybe Frank should join the club: Sinatra, Doom & Dickson.
